After a rather tough play, Caballeritos del Baile's Elvio Larpe got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ruy Gerber scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damián Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Domingues hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Eduardo Endura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fernando Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo Baiano to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Elvio Larpe threw the ball into play from the sideline. AnÐaRaHy's Benjamin Marinho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fernando Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Ramirez in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes AnÐaRaHy got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Mattos. Fernando Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Ramirez in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Ruy Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damián Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Elvio Larpe hit a great ball. Dadá Correia struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Damián Martínez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AnÐaRaHy. 82 minutes into the match, AnÐaRaHy's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Ramirez came free, but Fernando Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes, Elvio Larpe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caballeritos del Baile and the AnÐaRaHy players grew even worse after the yellow card.
