But to his dismay, Betinho Falcão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 13 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Ireno. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Lawrence got free with Joaquin Araoz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kasper Dalman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Lorencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasper Dalman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Maura, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Romeo Lorencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Raul Panpili got a free kick in the 30th minute. Edelmiro Paskal struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Joaquin Araoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA DEL MONO. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After 59 played minutes, LA DEL MONO's Edelmiro Paskal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Araoz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LA DEL MONO reached it. Hernan Clemencin's late challenge caught a LA DEL MONO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Clemencin helped the player get up and apologised. Hernan Clemencin hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the game Hernan Clemencin made a throw-in which Moreno Beltrán played forward. After 70 minutes, Edgar Arango mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA DEL MONO and the TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB defense, Betinho Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Araoz. The TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Araoz should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Lawrence came free, but Joaquin Araoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustacio Bela during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Eustacio Bela hit a great ball. Erubiel Maura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kasper Dalman. LA DEL MONO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 90th minute, Cirilo Aballe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 93rd minute, Silverio Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, LA DEL MONO's Kasper Dalman got control of the ball when Cirilo Aballe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The LA DEL MONO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
