Absoliut's Albinas Vaitiekus quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Villiam Stenkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Vaclovas Jurkus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arūnas Murza in the 11th minute of play forced Lirarnas Lag's goalkeeper Alf Enström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes, Sven-Åke Hjelm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lirarnas Lag and the Absoliut players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Lirarnas Lag got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Hjelm. Alf Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arūnas Murza, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Gražvydas Vaitiekus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Enström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Magnus Arenberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lirarnas Lag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Absoliut the free kick. In the 18th minute, Magnus Arenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's goal looked a bit too open when Arūnas Murza came free, but Alf Enström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Absoliut's Almantas Baltramiejūnas got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Aras Kadys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lirarnas Lag's Alessio Cinalli got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Absoliut getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gvidas Daulys hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arūnas Murza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alf Enström. That made the score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hjalmar Kråk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Valdas Ivanauskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alf Enström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven-Åke Hjelm kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Absoliut's Tauras Dovydėnas was substituted for Arūnas Murza. After 64 played minutes Lirarnas Lag got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Hjelm. In the 74th minute of the game Albinas Vaitiekus made a throw-in which Almantas Baltramiejūnas played forward. 78 minutes into the game, Absoliut's Tauras Dovydėnas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alf Enström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Alf Enström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tauras Dovydėnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Lirarnas Lag's Alf Enström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tauras Dovydėnas in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus got control of the ball when Hjalmar Kråk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
