Arnaldo Baiano started the match with the kick off. Fernando Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Lorencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 5 minutes into the game, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Romeo Lorencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Diniz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Arnaldo Baiano scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Araoz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodoro Cristos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. AnÐaRaHy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dadá Correia in the 16th minute. Fernando Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Lorencio in the 25th minute. In the 29th match minute, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Belasko to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, AnÐaRaHy's Dadá Correia tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Joaquin Araoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruy Gerber's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Romeo Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Lorencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, AnÐaRaHy's Benjamin Marinho got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Baiano in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Araoz saved TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Belasko during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marcelo Belasko hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Arnaldo Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. AnÐaRaHy's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Araoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Otávio Valle fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AnÐaRaHy's protests and gave Otávio Valle a yellow card for diving instead. Otávio Valle hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Teo Juvenal got a free kick in the 79th minute. AnÐaRaHy's Arnaldo Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 minutes, Hernan Clemencin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB and the AnÐaRaHy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Otávio Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Fernando Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Lorencio in the 89th minute of play. Joaquin Araoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruy Gerber in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AnÐaRaHy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
