Kolonia Radlin's Witold Marchewka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Abalos in the 30th minute of play. If Jernej Petrovič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Witold Marchewka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jernej Petrovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quentin Willmott made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Richard Koštomaj. Duško Turnšek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Witold Marchewka came out and tried to block the shot, but Duško Turnšek slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the game, Delmiro Lizbeth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HIT Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kolonia Radlin the free kick. The referee gave Kolonia Radlin a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomasz Kloczko, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur. 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

HIT Gorica's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
