Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) José Ramos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Calito Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes RB Chubut's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Pimentel who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Miguel Pimentel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius did a great save. In the 8th minute, Diómedes Rodriguez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sergio Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Deput in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's Jurand Deput sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Gutierrez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Ramos in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Deput came free, but Sergio Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Ramos in the 18th minute of the match. Aaron Anselmino hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Jon Birkfeld in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RB Chubut's Bogdan Lenertej. After a defensive mix-up in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s zone, Jurand Deput stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Gutierrez came out of the goal and Jurand Deput tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th match minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Birkfeld to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute José Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after RB Chubut's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Pimentel took the corner. Sergio Gutierrez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Deput, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 43 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Jurand Deput. In the 44thth minute of the game José Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

RB Chubut made a substitution. Isaac Mingo replaced Jurand Deput. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Mingo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robert Vassenius made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Ramos in the 56th minute. Gabríel Batistuta kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Gabríel Batistuta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Isaac Mingo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the RB Chubut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Mingo couldn't finish the play. Robert Vassenius made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when José Ramos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ booed when RB Chubut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Ulpiano Zapata sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Vassenius skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zheko Kraychev during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 74 minutes into the match, Isaac Mingo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Gutierrez. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Mingo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Sergio Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Mingo in the 84th minute of play. After 86 minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aaron Anselmino who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Guaberto Bibiano hit a great ball. The RB Chubut supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s performance. The match ended with a win for ►Las Mercedes F.C◄.
