Spectators: 8015 (Terracing: 6013, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sammy Alsford kicked off to start the match. Len Taylor kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Miguel do Vale came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Sammy Alsford. But to his dismay, Sammy Alsford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marek Tyskie during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Thunderstorm Riders getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Marek Tyskie hit a great ball. Miguel do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Groom, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Kolba came free, but Albert Godsall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Egg Chasers FC's Albert Godsall got control of the ball when Marek Tyskie tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, one of Thunderstorm Riders:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Thunderstorm Riders. Miguel do Vale had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Franz Hardcastle's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Franz Hardcastle scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Len Taylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Alsford, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Miguel do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Alsford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Groom in the 37th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Miguel do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Groom took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel do Vale. Miguel do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Miromir Turok took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Albert Godsall to make any attempt to save it. After the first half Egg Chasers FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Tyskie to make the kick off. Thunderstorm Riders's Miguel do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Alsford in the 51st minute of play. Miguel do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Alsford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miromir Turok recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thunderstorm Riders made a substitution. Wladyslaw Kapinos replaced Radomil Pysz. 58 minutes into the game, Joel Groom recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel do Vale. Joel Groom showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Damian Stonehouse struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Miguel do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egg Chasers FC. 75 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Gdaniec came free, but Albert Godsall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Alsford in the 77th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Miguel do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egg Chasers FC's Albert Godsall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miromir Turok in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Egg Chasers FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
