Albert Godsall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Mingo in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Hardcastle to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's Aaron Anselmino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when RB Chubut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Gonsalve didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Alsford in the 15th minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Robert Vassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Isaac Mingo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Godsall was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Len Taylor kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Isaac Mingo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Albert Godsall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isaac Mingo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. RB Chubut's Esteban Gonsalve managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ralf Morcom in the 34 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Egg Chasers FC defense, Isaac Mingo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Godsall. The Egg Chasers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Godsall should have stopped the shot. In the 45thth minute of the game Isaac Mingo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egg Chasers FC's Albert Godsall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gabríel Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Mingo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
