Duško Turnšek started the match with the kick off. If Zlatko Goričan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek got a free kick in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaw Niezywy got free with Konstantin Pančur in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Witold Marchewka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Koštomaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duško Turnšek scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Witold Marchewka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Witold Marchewka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duško Turnšek in the 23rd minute of play. Venancio Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witold Marchewka having to interfere. Kolonia Radlin's attentive Jedrzej Trojanowski managed to snatch the ball when Richard Koštomaj made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. 35 minutes into the game, one of Kolonia Radlin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Quentin Willmott made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jernej Petrovič immediately put the ball in play. After the first half HIT Gorica were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Witold Marchewka made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Duško Turnšek sent off a good shot on target. Konstantin Pančur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Niezywy in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatko Goričan in the 57th minute of play forced Kolonia Radlin's goalkeeper Witold Marchewka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. HIT Gorica's Teodosio Orzaize was substituted for Richard Koštomaj. In the 64th minute, Tolek Kajdasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Brite McCready's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Witold Marchewka was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After having played for 73 minutes, Gustaw Niezywy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Witold Marchewka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brite McCready's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. HIT Gorica's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
