Spectators: 8156 (Terracing: 6118, Seating: 1876, VIP seats: 162) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Mouricio kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Spams's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Rolandsson. Yavuz Bülent Özger kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Stipe Pletikosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Rolandsson in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Spams's Stipe Pletikosa got control of the ball when Per Rolandsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pål Askestät in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stipe Pletikosa saved Spams from getting behind. Emanuel Mouricio might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Abel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Mouricio ran back to his position shaking his head. Victoriano Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrej Kramarić, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Askestät in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Pacho. In the 30th minute Gaspar Pacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Matthias Liljeström fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Average Joes's protests and gave Matthias Liljeström a yellow card for diving instead. Stipe Pletikosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Rolandsson in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Pacho. 44 minutes into the match, Arthur Saba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stipe Pletikosa. Spams's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Saba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.

Spams's Ramon Lizardi was substituted for Andrej Kramarić. Spams's Zvonimir Soldo was substituted for Alvaro Tino. Average Joes made a substitution. Nils-Emil Gulliksson replaced Lukas Bäckman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pål Askestät in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stipe Pletikosa saved Spams from getting behind. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Zvonimir Soldo hit a great ball. Stipe Pletikosa came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Average Joes's Arthur Saba. But to his dismay, Arthur Saba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Zvonimir Soldo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Askestät came free, but Stipe Pletikosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stipe Pletikosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pål Askestät's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. The supporters of Spams booed when Average Joes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Askestät didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Rolandsson in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Rolandsson in the 79th minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Spams's zone, Pål Askestät stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stipe Pletikosa came out of the goal and Pål Askestät tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stipe Pletikosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Silban in the 90th minute of the match. When Arthur Saba fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Average Joes's protests and gave Arthur Saba a yellow card for diving instead. Arthur Saba kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Average Joes's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Lizardi came free, but Victoriano Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spams's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
