After 7 minutes, Oğuzer Tun made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Spams's Stipe Pletikosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vahdet Uçanok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Mouricio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Stipe Pletikosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Laurin in the 35th minute of the match. LOI's Şensoy Gülen got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When LOI's Bonifacio Laurin in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spams's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Ante Rebić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vahdet Uçanok. LOI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ante Rebić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Stipe Pletikosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şensoy Gülen in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Cecilio Telesforo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahdet Uçanok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Spams's Humberto Cutberto was substituted for Ante Rebić. Spams made a substitution. Ramon Lizardi replaced Gaspar Pacho. Stipe Pletikosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Numan Tüzel's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute LOI were awarded a corner. Alp Yaşar went to the cornerflag to take it. Şensoy Gülen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Stipe Pletikosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şensoy Gülen struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Stipe Pletikosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOI. LOI were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Spams's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alp Yaşar took the corner. 70 minutes into the game, Ramon Lizardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spams's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOI the free kick. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Spams's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramon Lizardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Melchor Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahdet Uçanok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Alvaro Tino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Laurin in the 81st minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of LOI booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Şensoy Gülen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When Şensoy Gülen came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the LOI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şensoy Gülen couldn't finish the play.
