The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfie Nethercot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Pacho in the 3rd minute of the match. Brian Webb hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes of play, Spams's Gaspar Pacho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfie Nethercot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Al Knight kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Gaspar Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Callum Rockett kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Mouricio in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfie Nethercot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes, Callum Rockett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greenbay and the Spams players grew even worse after the yellow card. Callum Rockett hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute of the match Leonardo Indalecio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfie Nethercot skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Greenbay's Lennie Nelthorpe got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mouricio came free, but Alfie Nethercot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfie Nethercot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ante Rebić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greenbay's Callum Rockett got his second yellow card of the match in the 20th minute. The referee ordered Callum Rockett off the ground. In the 21st minute, Callum Rockett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Ante Rebić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfie Nethercot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Greenbay getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Junior Leadbeater hit a great ball. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Eadan in the 28th minute of play. If Damian Eadan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Spams's Stipe Pletikosa got control of the ball when Quentin Preston tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfie Nethercot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Pacho in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Ante Rebić came free, but Alfie Nethercot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Gaspar Pacho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfie Nethercot. Greenbay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Pacho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Alfie Nethercot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ante Rebić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Greenbay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Spams were winning 0-3.

In the 53rd minute Melchor Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfie Nethercot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Melchor Theodore dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfie Nethercot, 0-4. A collision led to Spams getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alvaro Tino hit a great ball. Damian Eadan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Spams's Stipe Pletikosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Eadan in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Spams's Ramon Lizardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfie Nethercot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfie Nethercot made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Melchor Theodore sent off a good shot on target. Ramon Lizardi struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Alfie Nethercot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spams. Alfie Nethercot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Lizardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfie Nethercot made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Melchor Theodore sent off a good shot on target. When Igor Tudor fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spams's protests and gave Igor Tudor a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Spams! Alfie Nethercot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melchor Theodore in the 90th minute. Alfie Nethercot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Lizardi in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 99th minute, Melchor Theodore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfie Nethercot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Spams walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
