Alfie Nethercot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonçalo Montenegro went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hugo Laguna hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes Greenbay got a freekick which was hit by Damian Eadan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Montenegro in the 25th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Alfie Nethercot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evan Ferguson in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Félix Mielle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th minute of the match, Evan Ferguson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Félix Mielle was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edinho Arantes scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfie Nethercot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half MALZBIER were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

MALZBIER's Kang Chen Xiong was substituted for Dudu Alvarenga. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Huang Yi Qian was the one to do the kick off. Alfie Nethercot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuri Loureiro in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Loureiro got free with Alfie Nethercot in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, MALZBIER's Tony Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfie Nethercot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Huang Yi Qian took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfie Nethercot. Alfie Nethercot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Huang Yi Qian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfie Nethercot having to interfere. In the 70th minute Jerome Sanderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Félix Mielle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Tony Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfie Nethercot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfie Nethercot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Montenegro in the 78th minute of play. If Yuri Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennie Nelthorpe hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Huang Yi Qian came free, but Alfie Nethercot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greenbay's Alfie Nethercot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Hoffmann in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Andrew Etherington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greenbay's Alfie Nethercot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Greenbay from getting a goal against them. After 95 played minutes Greenbay got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Ellis. Gonçalo Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
