Alfie Nethercot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sylwester Malewicz went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Greenbay booed when KKS Magines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Brack didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lennie Nelthorpe came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Greenbay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennie Nelthorpe couldn't finish the play. Alfie Nethercot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Lewkowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Greenbay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Eadan to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Walentowicz got free with Alfie Nethercot in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Marek Chowaniec managed to get in a good position for a shot. KKS Magines's supporters rose to their feet, but Marek Chowaniec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfie Nethercot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KKS Magines's Szymon Lewkowicz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 40 played minutes Greenbay got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Ellis. In the 42nd minute, Filip Walentowicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfie Nethercot was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Szymon Lewkowicz scored 5-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfie Nethercot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Malewicz in the 51st minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Alfie Nethercot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greenbay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leszek Wrzosek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. KKS Magines's Krzysztof Prusinowski was substituted for Tytus Chazon. Greenbay's Alfie Nethercot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Gongolewicz in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Leszek Wrzosek put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfie Nethercot. KKS Magines walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
