The supporters of 1989 Blxsk booed when FC Brzesko City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 42 played minutes FC Brzesko City got a freekick which was hit by Leon Sierocki.

The wind increased when Mario Tiniebra made the kick off in the second half. Wincenty Jaraczeski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Santo Shantala skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Mario Tiniebra came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the 1989 Blxsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Tiniebra couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute of the match, Gilbert Cetnar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santo Shantala saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mario Tiniebra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Ziemowit Ziomkowski took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Santo Shantala to make any attempt to save it. The 1989 Blxsk supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Brzesko City's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Brzesko City.
