After 17 played minutes, Parfrente FC's Mauro Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ceferino Balasi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Parfrente FC reached it. After having played for 22 minutes, Ronaldo do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parfrente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Patxi Claude notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Parfrente FC's Haroldo Chaves. Haroldo Chaves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, Patxi Claude had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Chaves. Parfrente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patxi Claude was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Carioca in the 34th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Ceferino Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Patxi Claude. Patxi Claude's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Chaves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Jorge-Luis Sivieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauan Carioca to strike the kick off in the second half. Zorros del Desierto's Ceferino Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Carioca in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Parfrente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patxi Claude came free, but Haroldo Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Patxi Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorros del Desierto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patxi Claude was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kauan Carioca in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceferino Balasi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ceferino Balasi came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Parfrente FC's Kauan Carioca. But to his dismay, Kauan Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Zorros del Desierto's Rui Shantala was substituted for Patxi Claude. Zorros del Desierto's Ceferino Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo do Valle in the 71st minute of play. Rui Shantala scored 1-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haroldo Chaves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Haroldo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Rui Shantala fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zorros del Desierto's protests and gave Rui Shantala a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Rui Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zorros del Desierto eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
