He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.D. Pepino’s reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramón Branco during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Ramón Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Elear Iparraguirre came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the C.D. Pepino’s fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elear Iparraguirre couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elear Iparraguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tonhão Palmeira made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Reginaldo Meireles immediately put the ball in play. In the 45th match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asier Gaviño to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Asier Gaviño made the kick off in the second half. Paco Camarasa hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, C.D. Pepino’s's Jimeno Mac Donald got a free kick in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Kauan Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parfrente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauan Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Mauro Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parfrente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Asmussen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Asmussen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo do Valle in the 65th minute of the match. Pepino’s's Marcelo Galeno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tonhão Palmeira in the 68 minute of the game. Haroldo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elear Iparraguirre, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. C.D. Pepino’s's Elear Iparraguirre was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Chants of C.D. Pepino’s echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Parfrente FC had held the ball for most of the match.
