Silvino Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Thomas in the 31st minute of play. Gremio Viana's Silvino Morais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Isidor in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Hurboc's Cosme Thomas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvino Morais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 38th match minute, Hurboc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Isidor to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Nicolau Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when John Wick made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Hurboc got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Hitzeder. The supporters of Hurboc booed when Gremio Viana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Valido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Cosme Thomas made a precise shot to the right of Silvino Morais. Gremio Viana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4.
