The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zula Kinic during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, 2kC Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Kinic to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, 2kC Poznań's Roman Kolbe got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Zaworski. 13 minutes into the match, Domenico Báez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of 2kC Poznań's Izydor Pilipiec. Izydor Pilipiec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Anderson Huaiquipan fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colo-Colo's protests and gave Anderson Huaiquipan a yellow card for diving instead. Anderson Huaiquipan hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Dziura. Colo-Colo's Domenico Báez got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marino Sadin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franciszek Kostrzewa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Domenico Báez made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Milosz Budzyn notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Colo-Colo's Marino Sadin. Marino Sadin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marino Sadin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Kolbe in the 58th minute of the match. Arturo Vidal scored 2-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Izydor Pilipiec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Izydor Pilipiec came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Colo-Colo's Domenico Báez. But to his dismay, Domenico Báez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Colo-Colo's David Israel Epulef was substituted for Domenico Báez. Milosz Podowski struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Marino Sadin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 2kC Poznań. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Vidal during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arturo Vidal hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, David Israel Epulef left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colo-Colo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Colo-Colo's Alirio Fabiani was substituted for Anderson Huaiquipan. In the 90th minute, David Israel Epulef made a precise shot to the right of Izydor Pilipiec. 2kC Poznań's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 95th minute, one of 2kC Poznań:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 2kC Poznań. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Colo-Colo. Ernesto Campusano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Izydor Pilipiec. 6-2. When the referee ended the match the Colo-Colo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
