After 4 minutes, Michal Latocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 2kC Poznań and the Sonstorps Fotboll players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milosz Budzyn got free with Adrian Billberg in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adrian Billberg was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Michal Latocha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michal Latocha really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 12th minute Milosz Budzyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Donostia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Izydor Pilipiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sonstorps Fotboll's goalkeeper Adrian Billberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Sonstorps Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by 李煜 Wu. In the 26th minute, Martin Zachrisson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Sonstorps Fotboll's Ignacio Donostia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Izydor Pilipiec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Adrian Billberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Latocha in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sonstorps Fotboll's goalkeeper Adrian Billberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the last second Adrian Billberg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Michal Latocha in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mark Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michal Latocha was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, 2kC Poznań's Milosz Budzyn made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Billberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, 2kC Poznań's Zula Kinic got a free kick in the 57th minute. Mark Dahlberg struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Izydor Pilipiec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sonstorps Fotboll. After a defensive mix-up in Sonstorps Fotboll's zone, Michal Latocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Billberg came out of the goal and Michal Latocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Many of Sonstorps Fotboll's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sonstorps Fotboll may have spent more time on the ball, but 2kC Poznań were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
