In the 5th minute of the match, Christian Håkansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 许西森 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuncay Cansever in the 8th minute of play forced 广州太阳神足球俱乐部's goalkeeper 许西森 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adem Müller in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adem Müller in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Söderberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, 孟适帆 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Håkan Söderberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Adem Müller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuncay Cansever recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 许西森 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncay Cansever, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 孟适帆 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Håkan Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 许西森 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tuncay Cansever's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 谢适阳 in the 34th minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Håkan Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 许西森 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncay Cansever, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Tuncay Cansever recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 许西森. Tuncay Cansever showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute, Tuncay Cansever got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, 广州太阳神足球俱乐部's goal looked a bit too open when Tuncay Cansever came free, but 许西森 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Tuncay Cansever ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 许西森 was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 62nd minute Tuncay Cansever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 许西森 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Degerfors IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Witold Serwacki in the 63rd minute. The corner ended in Witold Serwacki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 广州太阳神足球俱乐部's 许西森 did a great save. 70 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when 孟适帆 came free, but Håkan Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Degerfors IF fully deserved thier win.
