The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edgar da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that André Carlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráuzio Borges was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. André Carlsson took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio Borges. Dráuzio Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hummerfiskarna's Gottfrid Kullander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar da Costa in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hummerfiskarna's zone, Edgar da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gottfrid Kullander came out of the goal and Edgar da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Baião kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Allan Biörling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dráuzio Borges was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Gilmar Neto got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bandelocos's Dráuzio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Carlsson in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edson Meira got free with Gottfrid Kullander in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Carlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráuzio Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Carlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Dráuzio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Edson Meira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gottfrid Kullander, 1-2. In the 43rd minute, Gustavo Baião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Biörling to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Neto. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, André Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hummerfiskarna's supporters rose to their feet, but André Carlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráuzio Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bandelocos's Dráuzio Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Biörling in the 59th minute of play. Gottfrid Kullander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as André Carlsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dráuzio Borges. That made the score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. André Carlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráuzio Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Carlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Dráuzio Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Biörling in the 73rd minute of the match. Hummerfiskarna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rasmus Månsson in the 74th minute. The corner led Hummerfiskarna's Rasmus Månsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Dráuzio Borges despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Filipe Passos hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Dráuzio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 97th play minute Åke Palmquist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dráuzio Borges. 1-4. Hummerfiskarna's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
