In the 32nd minute of the match, Ramón Barbosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dráuzio Borges saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Víktor Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joélson Chaves during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Joélson Chaves hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
