Damian Orlo started the match with the kick off. Goiás Esporte Clube's Mané Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Orlo in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, one of ALIDIM FOR EVER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ALIDIM FOR EVER. 12 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Cabral came free, but Casimiro Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Damian Orlo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Quirino. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Orlo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, Goiás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Ixona to maneuver through the defense. Mané Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Orlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Cabral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Casimiro Abreu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 29 minutes, Damian Orlo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Goiás Esporte Clube's Mané Quirino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 minutes, Edgard Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goiás Esporte Clube and the ALIDIM FOR EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Goiás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casimiro Abreu having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Edgard Cabral put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Casimiro Abreu. When Nilmar Secco fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goiás Esporte Clube's protests and gave Nilmar Secco a yellow card for diving instead. Nilmar Secco hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Goiás Esporte Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ALIDIM FOR EVER were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Cabral was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Chinomso Tapia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Orlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Chinomso Tapia came free, but Mané Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Goiás Esporte Clube's Mané Quirino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Goiás Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Serafino Ixona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Vides in the 66th minute of the match. Casimiro Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Secco in the 69th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Cabral came free, but Casimiro Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Vides struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Casimiro Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goiás Esporte Clube. Casimiro Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Pinho in the 77th minute of play. Lisandro Nahia kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Damian Orlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Mané Quirino made a huge save. Damian Orlo scored 1-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mané Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Jarbas Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ALIDIM FOR EVER booed when Goiás Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. ALIDIM FOR EVER's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
