The tension between the CA Portugália and the Beetje Moe Re-United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedrão Saldanha hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. CA Portugália's Álvaro Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bill Hertog in the 39th minute of play. If Hans-Cees Ricksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Zanette didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
