Miromir Prusek started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Hetman. 6 minutes into the match, F.C. Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Gürkan Gurka came free, but Kacper Tobiáš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Deckberg charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olov Deckberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olov Deckberg hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Josef Kiempe fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK FOTBOLL's protests and gave Josef Kiempe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute Leonard Lewkowicz managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when F.C. Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stasio Hetman didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. Sosnowiec's Kacper Tobiáš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elof Hedin in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Svante Vestlund. Kacper Tobiáš stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elof Hedin's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Miromir Prusek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Sosnowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 25 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Elof Hedin. 29 minutes into the match, AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Lewkowicz. In the 32nd match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Ekblom to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Elof Hedin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kacper Tobiáš. F.C. Sosnowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elof Hedin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Elof Hedin scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kacper Tobiáš, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kacper Tobiáš didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evert Dahlqvist went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Evert Dahlqvist made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Evert Dahlqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arne Kilström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Prusek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sten Ekblom got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, AIK FOTBOLL's Sten Ekblom got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Bogdan Wiatrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Prusek in the 61st minute of the match. Kacper Tobiáš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Hedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 67 minutes, Elof Hedin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elof Hedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AIK FOTBOLL made a substitution. Fredrik Axelsson replaced Elof Hedin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Axelsson in the 74th minute of play forced F.C. Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Kacper Tobiáš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Fredrik Axelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIK FOTBOLL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Olov Deckberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to F.C. Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Miromir Prusek hit a great ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Fredrik Axelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Sosnowiec's Kacper Tobiáš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Prusek in the 88th minute of play forced AIK FOTBOLL's goalkeeper Arne Kilström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute of the match, Fredrik Axelsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kacper Tobiáš saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wasyl Majdoch's late challenge caught a AIK FOTBOLL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wasyl Majdoch helped the player get up and apologised. 95 minutes into the match, F.C. Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Axelsson came free, but Kacper Tobiáš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Prusek in the 97th minute of the match.
