Spectators: 8021 (Terracing: 6018, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) Leicester Lions's Ralph Masters started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the game, Ralph Masters recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stig Busk. Ralph Masters showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Callum Barratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ralph Masters came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stig Busk could save by the left post. In the 15th minute Ralph Masters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Busk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ralph Masters kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stig Busk. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Xentrias's Jussi Björling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Callum Barratt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 21 minutes into the game, Ralph Masters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leicester Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xentrias the free kick. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ralph Masters hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Masters in the 23rd minute of play forced Xentrias's goalkeeper Stig Busk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Söderberg came free, but Callum Barratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Xentrias's Stig Busk got control of the ball when Huey Porter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stig Busk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ralph Masters in the 27th minute. Stig Busk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Wadham, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Xentrias's Jonathan Hansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Callum Barratt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rickard Söderberg was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Patryk Plučinský threw the ball into play from the sideline. Xentrias's Fang Yang Fei quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Callum Barratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jussi Björling in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Xentrias defense, Ralph Masters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig Busk. The Xentrias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig Busk should have stopped the shot. After 72 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Fang Yang Fei. After 76 minutes of play Xentrias's Lukas Bjursell was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When 巩竞雄 fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xentrias's protests and gave 巩竞雄 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Xentrias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 巩竞雄 to maneuver through the defense. Xentrias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Hansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Callum Barratt managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Xentrias's Rickard Söderberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 95 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Gozdowski. Xentrias's Stig Busk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Peacock in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leicester Lions fully deserved thier win.
