An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Nayely in the 4th minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Callum Barratt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Mike Wadham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cristian Sancho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 played minutes Barsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Velasco. Damian Dyson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Dyson to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Gabino Bernal took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Callum Barratt to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Sancho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Huey Porter's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patryk Plučinský during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Patryk Plučinský. Callum Barratt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Berasko in the 35th minute of the match. Barsa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristo Berasko in the 36th minute. Leicester Lions's Callum Barratt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Leicester Lions from getting a goal against them. Callum Barratt made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Işıkalp Zaik sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Niceto Ofelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Işıkalp Zaik was the one to do the kick off. Callum Barratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Işıkalp Zaik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Callum Barratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's John Peacock got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Işıkalp Zaik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Callum Barratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Enrique Nayely's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Callum Barratt was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Callum Barratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabino Bernal in the 74th minute of play. Mike Wadham did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Cristian Sancho 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Ralf Hind managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leicester Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf Hind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Sancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Vic Burrows got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barsa FC's Cristian Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Hind in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Huey Porter reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristian Sancho. The goal made the score 2-3. When the match was over Leicester Lions could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barsa FC throughout the match.
