Polly Magoo Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Denver Volante ran over to the corner to take the kick. Denver Volante made a great header on São Paulo da Floresta's corner, it was just that Polly Magoo Juniors's Gigio Buffon managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 40th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Wållander to maneuver through the defense. Gigio Buffon came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo da Floresta's Xande Cachorro. But to his dismay, Xande Cachorro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nilmar Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Hjálmar Jónsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Jacinto skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Jan-Erik Tunberg made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to São Paulo da Floresta getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dênis Mesquita hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the game, Denver Volante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Paulo da Floresta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polly Magoo Juniors the free kick. A collision led to Polly Magoo Juniors getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eric Bertaux hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Pardo in the 65th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. São Paulo da Floresta's Teodoro Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 71st minute of play forced São Paulo da Floresta's goalkeeper Teodoro Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jefferson Schott tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Teodoro Jacinto. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 83rd minute. Gigio Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xande Cachorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Celso Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigio Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded São Paulo da Floresta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Polly Magoo Juniors.
