Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shawn Darmanin in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 12th minute Jordi Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dejan Cumbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jordi Morales sped through Seraċini Għawdxin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dejan Cumbo. Dejan Cumbo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jordi Morales went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ciudad de Soria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stephan Hyzler helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.D. Ciudad de Soria booed when Seraċini Għawdxin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Hyzler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seraċini Għawdxin's Dejan Cumbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frechoso Mondejar in the 25th minute of play. Lucas Sabina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Seychell in the 29th minute of the match. The wind increased when Marcos Villalcazar made the kick off in the second half. Lucas Sabina made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Paul Montebello sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Frechoso Mondejar came free, but Dejan Cumbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match, Robert Seychell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucas Sabina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 62 minutes, Quico Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.D. Ciudad de Soria and the Seraċini Għawdxin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Seraċini Għawdxin's Clayton Vella was substituted for Claudio Meli. Quico Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Robert Seychell took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Lucas Sabina to make any attempt to save it. In the 82nd minute, Robert Seychell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Sabina was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Shawn Darmanin scored 3-7 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Sabina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quico Castro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Robert Seychell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lucas Sabina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seraċini Għawdxin's Shawn Darmanin got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Seraċini Għawdxin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.D. Ciudad de Soria.
