Bajbusy Fabian-a's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Esportivo Saudade the free kick. The supporters of Clube Esportivo Saudade booed when Bajbusy Fabian-a was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Ferfecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Garci Acosta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bajbusy Fabian-a's Lucjan Walentowicz. After a rather tough play, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Anxo Uria got a free kick in the 38th minute. Chaouki Ben Rau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Esportivo Saudade's zone, Chaouki Ben Rau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ritchie Roig came out of the goal and Chaouki Ben Rau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ritchie Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chaouki Ben Rau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube Esportivo Saudade's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tolek Walentowicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Bajbusy Fabian-a's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Midas Arribas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Hugo Benedicto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Esportivo Saudade and the Bajbusy Fabian-a players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chaouki Ben Rau in the 72nd minute of play forced Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalkeeper Ritchie Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Chaouki Ben Rau came free, but Ritchie Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
