Neron Ruiz charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neron Ruiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neron Ruiz hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of Clube Esportivo Saudade booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernie Ball didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th match minute, Clube Esportivo Saudade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ibar Ortega to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Ernie Ball ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ritchie Roig was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 27 minutes into the match, Clube Esportivo Saudade's goal looked a bit too open when Ernie Ball came free, but Ritchie Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Angel Comizzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gudesteo Zabalo. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garci Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Ernie Ball. Ritchie Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Tristan in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernie Ball to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Clube Esportivo Saudade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gudesteo Zabalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ritchie Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernie Ball in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Clube Esportivo Saudade got a freekick which was hit by Midas Arribas. After the first half Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Midas Arribas made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Midas Arribas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quique Doro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernie Ball scored 0-4 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ritchie Roig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gavril Bobei lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute, Gudesteo Zabalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angel Comizzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Ritchie Roig made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ernie Ball sent off a good shot on target. Neron Ruiz was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Neron Ruiz got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute, Renan Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Clube Esportivo Saudade's Gudesteo Zabalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angel Comizzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gudesteo Zabalo was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Esportivo Saudade's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Tristan in the 95th minute of play forced Clube Esportivo Saudade's goalkeeper Ritchie Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
