Eustaquio Ondino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Frasco in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Frasco came free, but Eustaquio Ondino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Deportivo Ortegano's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Erauso came free, but Eustaquio Ondino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Victoriano Erauso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Natalio Reno hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Alfonso Pasqual's late challenge caught a Deportivo Ortegano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Lobado in the 67th minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Clodoveo Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Lobado, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79 minutes Apocalípticos & Caóticos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Arizabal who took care of the corner kick. Arsenio Francesco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eustaquio Ondino came out and tried to block the shot, but Arsenio Francesco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Deportivo Ortegano's Elano Lobado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clodoveo Ortle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The Apocalípticos & Caóticos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Deportivo Ortegano from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
