The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olimpiu Târlea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felix Grigoroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Horaţiu Arsenescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A4p FC Gad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Batalionul U23 Dorobanti the free kick. Horaţiu Arsenescu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti defense, Petru Tărău kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Comizzo. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Comizzo should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Tărău came free, but Angel Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Târlea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernie Ball in the 29th minute. A4p FC Gad's Horaţiu Arsenescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angel Comizzo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A4p FC Gad's Olimpiu Târlea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save A4p FC Gad from getting a goal against them. In the 46th match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Grigoroiu to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petru Tărău was the one to do the kick off. Angel Comizzo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matei Filipoiu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of A4p FC Gad were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Batalionul U23 Dorobanti side.
