Deportivo Ortegano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lino Sarracino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lino Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Deportivo Ortegano's Sendoa Larrañaga in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Celso Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Elano Lobado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sendoa Larrañaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Lobado in the 32nd minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Clodoveo Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elano Lobado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Ortle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When Sendoa Larrañaga came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Deportivo Ortegano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sendoa Larrañaga couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Pasqual charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Pasqual the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Deportivo Ortegano booed when Apocalípticos & Caóticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Pasqual didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Clodoveo Ortle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clodoveo Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sendoa Larrañaga in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Tomás Frasco made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Berria came free, but Clodoveo Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Lobados short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Clodoveo Ortle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 56th minute, Elano Lobado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Apocalípticos & Caóticos got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Reno. Clodoveo Ortle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Lobado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Elano Lobado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Ortegano were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Apocalípticos & Caóticos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Arizabal took the corner. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Ortegano's corner Edmundo Arizabal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clodoveo Ortle quite easily take care of the ball. Celso Meder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Ortegano's Eustaquio Ondino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Frasco in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elano Lobado got free with Clodoveo Ortle in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Lino Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Sarracino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Ondino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clodoveo Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Lobado in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elano Lobado during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
