After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Roland Szikora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nagyváradi AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Szikora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Sundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, one of Käka Puck BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Käka Puck BK. Goliath Pequeño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Doğan Gayret reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victor Sundström. The goal made the score 0-1. The supporters of Käka Puck BK booed when Nagyváradi AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miklós Sebestyén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goliath Pequeño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gyula Grosics read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Goliath Pequeño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Käka Puck BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
