The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marek Wyrzykowski hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Vinicio Beliran lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 14th minute, one of ZigZag Athletic:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ZigZag Athletic. ZigZag Athletic:s Teofilo Distiratsu showed great skill when he stopped Amadeu Bacelar:s penalty. Amadeu Bacelar took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Distiratsu. Teofilo Distiratsu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Albins Kamrater's Papi Patel got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Amadeu Bacelar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teofilo Distiratsu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ernst Vikström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Teofilo Distiratsu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teofilo Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Bacelar in the 33rd minute of the match. When Gösta Messi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the ZigZag Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Messi couldn't finish the play. Albins Kamrater made a substitution. Krister Rudkvist replaced Amadeu Bacelar. ZigZag Athletic's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Krister Rudkvist scored to the left of an out of position Teofilo Distiratsu, making the score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernst Vikström to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhuang Gang Peng got free with Jan-Åke Jönsson in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If John Cena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Papi Patel with Arman Wallin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krister Rudkvist in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Distiratsu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Åke Jönsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gösta Messi in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute Marek Wyrzykowski suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Papi Patel fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albins Kamrater's protests and gave Papi Patel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Albins Kamrater's Papi Patel got a free kick in the 98th minute.
