Jan-Åke Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 52nd minute, Daniel Rang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krister Rudkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Barrera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Navarro in the 60th minute of play forced Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Albins Kamrater's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Navarro came free, but Jan-Åke Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match Ernst Vikström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Barrera skillfully saved the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Andreas Hedström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jan-Åke Jönsson. Andreas Hedström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
