Diego Goos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulysses Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Proteu's Ulysses Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Proteu from getting a goal against them. Diego Goos had several of the Proteu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ulysses Donato as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ulysses Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Goos in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's Diego Goos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulysses Donato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Proteu's goalkeeper Ulysses Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 minutes Proteu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diego Weets who took care of the corner kick. Proteu's Ulysses Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Proteu from getting a goal against them. Ulysses Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Goos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Proteu's goalkeeper Ulysses Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Purple Talents were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Proteu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diego Weets took the corner. The corner led Purple Talents's Diego Weets to fire away a dangerous shot which Ulysses Donato despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Purple Talents was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Goos to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dylan Robin got free with Ulysses Donato in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tiradet Do Bonde fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purple Talents's protests and gave Tiradet Do Bonde a yellow card for diving instead. 42 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goal looked a bit too open when Qu Wei came free, but Iker Carabajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Purple Talents's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luizinho Perfumo was slow to take the kick. During this time Proteu's players had a chance to rest. Luizinho Perfumo made a great header on Proteu's corner, it was just that Purple Talents's Iker Carabajal managed to reach the ball for a save. Qu Wei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Goos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Evandro Guedes hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to Purple Talents getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ritchie Vereeken hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Proteu's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Goos came free, but Ulysses Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Purple Talents got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Spoelbergs. If Diego Goos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute Diego Goos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Purple Talents's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
