Barnaba Kiszkiel was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Saverio Ribeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saverio Ribeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Mocko in the 15th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Bill Peterson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnaba Kiszkiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shane Beesley in the 19th minute. Bill Peterson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wincenty Mocko's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Michal Karbownik hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Wincenty Mocko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Peterson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barnaba Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudley Hadley in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Filipo Inzaghi came free, but Bill Peterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A sloppy throw-in by Grant Willets in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MKS Mazur Ełk's Vykintas Jasilionis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudley Hadley in the 54th minute of play forced MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper Barnaba Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes, Grant Willets mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heavenly Hooters and the MKS Mazur Ełk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Heavenly Hooters got a freekick which was hit by Grant Willets. Heavenly Hooters's Bill Peterson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Heavenly Hooters from getting a goal against them. After 64 played minutes MKS Mazur Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Mocko. MKS Mazur Ełk's Idacio Helguera was substituted for Wincenty Mocko. MKS Mazur Ełk made a substitution. Daniel Tjernström replaced Patryk Dziczek. Wincenty Mocko kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Daniel Tjernström was slow to take the kick. During this time MKS Mazur Ełk's players had a chance to rest. Filipo Inzaghi hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Filipo Inzaghi fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Bill Peterson. Saverio Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Dobromir Raszkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the MKS Mazur Ełk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobromir Raszkiewicz couldn't finish the play. Heavenly Hooters's Bill Peterson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Heavenly Hooters from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute MKS Mazur Ełk were awarded a corner. Daniel Tjernström went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on MKS Mazur Ełk's corner Daniel Tjernström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bill Peterson quite easily take care of the ball. Bill Peterson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipo Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Bill Peterson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipo Inzaghi in the 90th minute of play. If Arnout Hindriks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michal Karbownik hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes of play, MKS Mazur Ełk's Filipo Inzaghi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bill Peterson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Heavenly Hooters lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
