Claudio Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipo Inzaghi in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Dobromir Raszkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Mazur Ełk's supporters rose to their feet, but Dobromir Raszkiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Aznar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MKS Mazur Ełk's Barnaba Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Flinta in the 25th minute of play. With his leg Claudio Aznar managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when MKS Mazur Ełk's Wincenty Mocko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 30 in the game by Wincenty Mocko from a close distance when the talented Claudio Aznar managed to make a qualified save. Joxa mé trasan's players were relieved. The supporters of Joxa mé trasan booed when MKS Mazur Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobromir Raszkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wincenty Mocko came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claudio Aznar could save by the left post. Barnaba Kiszkiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Flinta, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the Joxa mé trasan defense, Filipo Inzaghi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Aznar. The Joxa mé trasan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Aznar should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Flinta to make the kick off. Claudio Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipo Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Barnaba Kiszkiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Ahlroth in the 53rd minute of the match. Filipo Inzaghi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Aznar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barnaba Kiszkiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Flinta in the 75th minute of play. Claudio Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Mocko, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. MKS Mazur Ełk's Roman Gdowski was substituted for Vykintas Jasilionis. MKS Mazur Ełk made a substitution. Daniel Tjernström replaced Gvidas Špokas. After 88 played minutes Joxa mé trasan got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Beliran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Idacio Helguera in the 89th minute of play forced Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idacio Helguera in the 94th minute of the match. Claudio Aznar came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Mazur Ełk's Idacio Helguera. But to his dismay, Idacio Helguera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After having played for 96 minutes, Idacio Helguera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Mazur Ełk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Idacio Helguera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joxa mé trasan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
