Erland Risdal charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erland Risdal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute Jarle Westby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Suleskard's goalkeeper Ådne Østvang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Indalecio. Suleskard's Ådne Østvang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reino Kaldvee in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Suleskard getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jarle Westby hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes Suleskard got a freekick which was hit by Albert Gram. Daniel Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durmuş Öner in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Kutsikad's goal looked a bit too open when Durmuş Öner came free, but Daniel Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Isak in the 27th minute of play forced Suleskard's goalkeeper Ådne Østvang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Suleskard's goalkeeper Ådne Østvang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Lisewski. In the 44th match minute, Suleskard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Risdal to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Isak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jarle Westby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Buffon having to interfere. After some careless play in the Suleskard defense, Marian Lisewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ådne Østvang. The Suleskard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ådne Østvang should have stopped the shot. Daniel Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarle Westby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maido Liiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ådne Østvang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Isak in the 78th minute of the match. Norberto Indalecio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ådne Østvang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maido Liiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kutsikad's goalkeeper Daniel Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Suleskard's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Arce in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suleskard's goalkeeper Ådne Østvang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
