Spectators: 8452 (Terracing: 6340, Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 169) Charmander City's Narciso Vincente started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luciano Frisco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Giacomini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Vincente in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristoforo Giacomini saved AC Collins from getting behind. Cristoforo Giacomini came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Charmander City's Luciano Frisco. But to his dismay, Luciano Frisco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, Charmander City's Luciano Frisco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Giacomini was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Luciano Frisco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Giacomini. AC Collins's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Frisco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some careless play in the AC Collins defense, Luciano Frisco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristoforo Giacomini. The AC Collins fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristoforo Giacomini should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Charmander City getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Narciso Vincente hit a great ball. When Narciso Vincente fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charmander City's protests and gave Narciso Vincente a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AC Collins booed when Charmander City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Vincente didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Luciano Frisco notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of AC Collins's Cristoforo Giacomini. Cristoforo Giacomini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AC Collins's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 37th minute of the game, when Alfonso Vittorio after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Charmander City's goal. Alfonso Vittorio was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Cristoforo Giacomini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Frisco in the 40th minute of the match. Alfonso Vittorio made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Carlo Martano however managed to control. In the 44th match minute, Charmander City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Torres to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabiano Del Papa to make the kick off. The supporters of Charmander City booed when AC Collins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Graziani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Luciano Frisco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Giacomini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The attack was good, but when Luciano Frisco in the 58th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. AC Collins's Dave Marrone was substituted for Domenico Graziani. AC Collins made a substitution. Alberigo Rosa replaced Ferruccio Di Fiore. AC Collins's Cristoforo Giacomini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Frisco in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes AC Collins got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Trentini. Charmander City made a substitution. Juan Laffitte replaced Narciso Vincente. Charmander City's Valentim Barco was substituted for Iwan Cempa. Cesare Trentini kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Arturo Torres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristoforo Giacomini, 0-7. Zeledon Sazon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristoforo Giacomini having to make a save. Cristoforo Giacomini made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Zeledon Sazon sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Sazons short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Cristoforo Giacomini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristoforo Giacomini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Sazon in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Sazon in the 84th minute of play forced AC Collins's goalkeeper Cristoforo Giacomini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, AC Collins's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Sazon came free, but Cristoforo Giacomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Charmander City's Zeledon Sazon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristoforo Giacomini. That made the score 0-8 after 94 minutes of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Charmander City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
