Lillhärdal BF's Chen Hong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Vincente in the 3rd minute of play. Luiz Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Kämpe in the 20th minute of the match. Tord Kämpe might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Mello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Kämpe ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Charmander City's goalkeeper Luiz Mello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tord Kämpe. After a defensive mix-up in Lillhärdal BF's zone, Froilan Galo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chen Hong Jun came out of the goal and Froilan Galo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chen Hong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Vincente, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Tord Kämpe might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Mello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Kämpe ran back to his position shaking his head. Chen Hong Jun didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Charmander City's Luciano Frisco shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torsten Lekberg to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Charmander City getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. In the 59th minute Lucas Quirze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Frisco in the 60th minute of play forced Lillhärdal BF's goalkeeper Chen Hong Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Probo Łęta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charmander City made a substitution. Zeledon Sazon replaced Luciano Frisco. Chen Hong Jun stood somewhat misplaced when Juan Laffitte came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 74 minute. The supporters of Charmander City booed when Lillhärdal BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Lillhärdal BF's goalkeeper Chen Hong Jun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Laffitte. The Charmander City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Charmander City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
