In the 17th minute, Hugon Zecman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyryl Wawak in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nery Pumpido saved Tabossi from getting behind. In the 21st minute of the match Fifth Chicken got a corner. Tabossi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Rywin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 29th minute Cyryl Wawak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cyryl Wawak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nery Pumpido was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 64th match minute, Tabossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Corderall to maneuver through the defense. When Cyryl Wawak fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fifth Chicken's protests and gave Cyryl Wawak a yellow card for diving instead. Tabossi made a substitution. Fabio Ferman replaced Arsenio Bembe. Cyryl Wawak hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Rico Marica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fifth Chicken made a substitution. Rey Skywalker replaced Darto Maul. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Benedicto Lauro with Fabio Ferman as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hugon Zecman's late challenge caught a Tabossi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugon Zecman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fifth Chicken's Hugon Zecman got a free kick in the 80th minute. Casian Andor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rico Marica went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Wawak, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Adam Rywin kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jurand Solibieda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nery Pumpido having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fifth Chicken players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tabossi.
