Spectators: 8515 (Terracing: 6387, Seating: 1958, VIP seats: 170) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iker Boruc started the match with the kick off. After having played for 9 minutes, Saturnino Oinaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabossi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Oinaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Santo Romano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Gustavo Prestes was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When Piotr Osikowicz fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s protests and gave Piotr Osikowicz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Piotr Osikowicz hit a great ball. The supporters of Tabossi booed when ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Boruc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s zone, Santo Romano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo Prestes came out of the goal and Santo Romano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Tabossi's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Boruc came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabossi's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 played minutes ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Breckenfeld. Santo Romano scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Gustavo Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saturnino Oinaz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tabossi:s goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santo Romano to strike the kick off in the second half. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Luís Gustavo Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute Iker Boruc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Olexandr Zinchenko got a free kick in the 58th minute. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Osikowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Santo Romanos short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Luís Gustavo Prestes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Boruc in the 65th minute of play forced Tabossi's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Osikowicz in the 67th minute of play. Tabossi's Simula Dron was substituted for Saturnino Oinaz. Tabossi's Rico Marica was substituted for Santo Romano. After 71 played minutes ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a freekick which was hit by Giuliano Basso. Rico Marica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rico Marica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Gustavo Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Tabossi's Rico Marica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Gustavo Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Gustavo Prestes made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Rico Marica sent off a good shot on target. Olexandr Zinchenko hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Giuliano Basso got a free kick in the 87th minute. Luís Gustavo Prestes was a little too slow when Rico Marica got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 95th minute ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ were awarded a corner. Benito Laurin went to the cornerflag to take it. Dan Finnman hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tabossi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
