In the 4th minute, Veth Crystals's Andrea Casals ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Telmo de Amorim. Telmo de Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Patora in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Andrea Casals shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo de Amorim came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora. But to his dismay, Gwidon Patora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's Serginho Quirino got a free kick in the 17th minute. Telmo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Loramendi in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Efraim came free, but Tiburcio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Jakue didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Guerreiro went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Maksymilian Kasprzak kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Veth Crystals's Telmo de Amorim threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrea Casals, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Mavericks from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Paulo de Sena in the 39th minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Veth Crystals got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Zielinski. Tiburcio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Gwidon Patora dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo de Amorim, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Armando Guerreiro made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Liu Zhi Guang made a precise shot to the right of Telmo de Amorim. Sport Club Mavericks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Patora in the 61st minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Telmo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Zhi Guang in the 62nd minute of play. Veth Crystals made a substitution. Zbigniew Wierzbicki replaced Andrea Casals. In the 64th minute, Raul Loramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Guerreiro in the 66th minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Filippini made a great header on Sport Club Mavericks's corner, it was just that Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue managed to reach the ball for a save. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Veth Crystals! The goalkeeper, Tiburcio Jakue, was totally fooled by Sport Club Mavericks's Arturo Filippini, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Armando Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Jakue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Guerreiro in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiburcio Jakue prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Loramendi came free, but Telmo de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Honorio Efraim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Loramendi in the 87th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Telmo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Efraim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Tiburcio Jakue made a huge save. Liu Zhi Guang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Telmo de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Dani Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Efraim. There was no doubt that Veth Crystals were the better team. Veth Crystals's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
