Spectators: 8126 (Terracing: 6095, Seating: 1868, VIP seats: 163) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Honorio Efraim took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Armando Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Guerreiro in the 5th minute. After 7 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Milei. When Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Snorlax FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th minute Sport Club Mavericks were awarded a corner. Honorio Efraim went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sport Club Mavericks's Honorio Efraim to fire away a dangerous shot which Antonio Cardoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ong Mathews received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antonio Cardoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Ong Mathews slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Snorlax FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Armando Guerreiro 17 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Snorlax FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Conrado Cocio in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Conrado Cocio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim did a great save. Armando Guerreiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Antonio Cardoso made a huge save. In the 28thth minute of the game Darío Bustunzuria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leandro de Castro lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's Leandro de Castro got a free kick in the 31st minute. Antonio Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Efraim in the 34th minute. Javier Milei hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Herauso in the 38th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Telmo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Snorlax FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Javier Milei hit a great ball. Honorio Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, César Balladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorio Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Darío Bustunzuria to make the kick off. Javier Milei charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javier Milei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Adam Nicoletti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sport Club Mavericks's Luís Gustavo Coelho was substituted for Serginho Quirino. The throw-in from Adalberto Tullet in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sport Club Mavericks's Arturo Filippini. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Snorlax FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Honorio Efraim was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Club Mavericks's players had a chance to rest. Honorio Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Efraim in the 67th minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Antonio Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Javier Milei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sport Club Mavericks's attentive Arturo Filippini managed to snatch the ball when Adalberto Tullet made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 72nd match minute, Snorlax FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Balladares to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Alves in the 79th minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Antonio Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Snorlax FC's Antonio Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Efraim in the 82nd minute of play. Honorio Efraim might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Cardoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Efraim ran back to his position shaking his head. Ong Mathews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Cardoso having to interfere. Ong Mathews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Antonio Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Balladares's late challenge caught a Sport Club Mavericks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Balladares helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when Snorlax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Balladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
