Maurinho Valadares started the match with the kick off. João Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Ştefănuţ in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute BlueLionesse were awarded a corner. Pompiliu Minea went to the cornerflag to take it. Maurinho Valadares struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Jonas Hermansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. João Augusto Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Ştefănuţ in the 9th minute. With a little luck, MUSHIBA FC's João Augusto Quintal got control of the ball when Amedeo Melis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 minutes MUSHIBA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pompiliu Minea who took care of the corner kick. In the 14th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Melis to maneuver through the defense. When Emy Marioara came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the BlueLionesse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emy Marioara couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, Augustin Ştefănuţ dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Augusto Quintal, 1-0. Augustin Ştefănuţ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but João Augusto Quintal made a huge save. João Augusto Quintal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emy Marioara's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Emy Marioara sped through MUSHIBA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Augusto Quintal. Irinel Gheondea made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jiang Zhi Ling however managed to control. João Augusto Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Ştefănuţ in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Irinel Gheondea missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 40 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the João Augusto Quintal right hand side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustin Ştefănuţ stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, MUSHIBA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Zhi Ling came free, but João Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MUSHIBA FC's João Augusto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Ştefănuţ in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Claudinho Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MUSHIBA FC's Toninho Matos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Irinel Gheondea, made in the 66th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Valadares in the 67th minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Jonas Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Zhi Ling in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, BlueLionesse's Amedeo Melis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Augusto Quintal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 73 minutes in the game Irinel Gheondea did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emy Marioara. João Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Ştefănuţ in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dida Mesquita hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes, BlueLionesse's Pompiliu Minea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Augusto Quintal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BlueLionesse reached it. In the 82nd minute Jiang Zhi Ling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amedeo Melis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. João Augusto Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emy Marioara in the 94th minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper João Augusto Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MUSHIBA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
