In the 20th minute Rodrigo Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Kane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coritiba Foot Ball Club were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after CE LAJEADENSE RS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Egon Boberg took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Garro in the 23rd minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Harry Kane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Harry Kane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Garro in the 29th minute of play. The wind increased when Rodrigo Garro made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Wang Chen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harry Kane. That made the score 2-4 in the 77 minute of play. After 81 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Lain. In the 82nd minute, Wang Chen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harry Kane was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. 3-5 became the score in the 85th minute when Yağızalp Arıkhan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 90 minutes, Wang Chen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coritiba Foot Ball Club and the CE LAJEADENSE RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Wang Chen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renan da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızalp Arıkhan in the 96th minute of play forced Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Gery Pattimura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Coritiba Foot Ball Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
